Safe sleep recommendations

Everything you need to know.

Before having a baby, we don’t spend much time thinking about sleep safety. But once you become a parent, it’s often all you think about. The good news is you’re not alone. We’ve been there, and now we’re here to help guide you and your family on a healthy and safe sleep journey.

The most important safety consideration when it comes to baby sleep is preventing accidents and reducing the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), which is the sudden and unexplained death of a baby younger than 1 year old. Sadly, there are 3,500 sleep-related deaths among US babies each year. The risk of losing your baby to SIDS is reduced significantly by knowing and implementing safe sleep practices.
